FROM THE BEGINNING
My name is Sallie Reid and I am a Texas-based artist. I have had a passion for the Lord from an early age. Having been raised by God-loving, hard-working parents on a busy dairy farm in Texas, I learned heat isn't always in the kitchen! Between watching and learning, and learning and doing, I began to find my way around the dairy, keeping my two brothers out of trouble and watching my mother and aunt paint as a creative outlet. I even took to barrel racing horses, before I sunk my teeth into painting. I have always had a creative spirit, but I was busy as a child testing all the wonderful options the Lord had placed along my path. I found a way to share God's beauty through paint and believed that my spiritual journey would one day come to life at the tip of my paintbrush. After studying fine art in college, I have since spent my time creating works of art that capture my love for the Holy Spirit and give people a sense of peace.
